Malta……..A Day Of Nothing

Well, here we are, day three in Malta.

I have to be honest, there just isn’t too much to talk about such was the level of activity.

St Paul’s Bay from the balcony

Breakfast was unnecessarily huge, I fell asleep reading my book on a lounger next to the infinity pool and got burnt a little and a man in the pool spent all day squinting to look at his phone and magazine whilst wearing a pair of sunglasses on the back of his head.

That guy annoyed me way more than he should have if I am being honest.

Dinner was equally as huge and unnecessary but we did have a good chat with the guy that welcomed you to the restaurant and showed you to your table.  He was called Spencer and was the nicest, warmest and happiest person you could want to meet.  He reminded me an awful lot of Mr Chow from the hangover movies.

db Hotel waking up

After dinner, we played UNO until the tempers frayed and then it was time for bed.  Enough of this lazy-day caper…..tomorrow was a time for action!

One thing to note, despite the sunglasses man annoying me, I was fully relaxed.  I was hitting eight and a half hours sleep every night so maybe this was just the break that I needed.
